Today’s SWAPA Number is 943,971 that’s the increase in passenger counts at TSA checkpoints since the lowest point in April of 2020. Today's SWAPA Number is 23. That's the number of days the Company has decided all labor groups have to negotiate a 10% pay concession or face the threat of furloughs. On October 8th, VP of Labor Relations, Russell McCrady, issued a memo to all union members setting a November 1st deadline to complete negotiations. In the same letter and repeated again during a Company town hall event last week, Labor Relations claim that Southwest unions, including SWAPA, have had more then six months to prepare. Today's SWAPA Number is 2,211 That's the number of Pilots who participated in one of the Company's much-needed cost savings initiatives last month. That includes 1,581 Pilots who took a temporary leave under Extended Time Off, or ExTO, and 630 Pilots who retired or separated from Southwest under the Voluntary Separation Program or VSP.
