Today's SWAPA Number is 50. That's the number of recently hired pilots who have voluntarily left Southwest Airlines so far in 2022. This record number shows that without an industry leading contract, Southwest Airlines cannot attract and retain the pilots needed to grow and sustain this network.SWAPA has been in formal negotiations for more than two years, since January of 2020, when we presented our pilot's full contract proposal.
